clutch pedal
started changing my master and slave cylinders (problems with a notchey master piston) on my 85 325e and discovered that the clutch pedal will stick to the floor firmly when pushed all the way down. (keep in mind that the master is still dis engaged from the linkage) is this normal or does the spring against the fire wall need some adjusting? or once i hook all the cylinders back up will this pull the pedal away from the fire wall.

sounds fine. the pressure from the master cylinder is what returns the clutch pedal, not the spring. hence why when your hydrolics go out, your pedal with stay down.

finished the job.....i guess all that spring does is affect how the pedal "feels"...clutch feels good, took forever to bleed it though:gun
