I have H&R OE springs on my E36, and i love them. (1.0" front, 0.5" rear) The thing i like about them is they drop the front a half an inch lower in the front than the rear, as do the sport springs.
I would recommend H&R, and FYI, i have Bilstien Sport shocks in the rear and i love them.
FYI again, my brother has the exact same car as me, and he has koni springs, and rear Bilstien HD shocks, and front Bilstien Sport shocks, and his car handles like it is on rails, and has a pretty stiff ride (i like his set-up) but i think it is mainly doe to the shocks (i still have stock front shocks- ran out of money)
Conclusion:
I would highly recommend H&R springs and Bilstien Sport shocks (both made in Germany)
I just purchased the H&R Sport springs & the Bilstein Sport struts & shocks from the Tire Rack!!!
They seem to have best prices!!!
Still waiting to install!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/S...lar=&brand=all
