E30 318i convertable M3 conversion FTW???

makes me really want to do this to my vert.

http://newyork.craigslist.org/brk/car/306597904.html

ive seen the rear quarter panels and everything on pelican for the e30 m3 and all those body parts are noticably more expensive than the fenders and such of 318 or 325, but man oh man is it sexy

my mistake, not on pelican but this website:

i appreciate whoever did that for trying, but i don't care for it, either. it wouldn't handle like a true M3, being a convertible, would it? plus i don't like the color and its missing the M3 wing. cool project idea, though.

yea it would handle exactly like an m3 convertible. you are aware that in europe they did sell the e30 m3 in a convertible right? and no it didnt come with a wing. i believe there are no REAL m3 verts in the u.s. and owning a clone would still be very rare and pretty cool to me.

Your Ride: 1992 325i Convertable
Hand Built

I have been reading about these M3 Convertables, All were hand built, and even there they were very rare. I like the look with the flares, but I could never cut up my rear quarters on mine to add the flares. If ever someone were to run into the back of mine where they had to be replaced, I would consider it. Of course I would be considering it from jail, because I would shoot them first.
