So i've gone to the dealership to get the appropriate touch up paint for my 325i. All they asked for was my VIN number and they said they could match the paint up that way. I went to pick it up last week and it's pretty obvious that it doesn't match. I'm not sure what the exact colour is, sort of a champaigne/gold, they gave me a bronze beige paint. Anybody know where to find the exact colour of the vehicle or if it's posted anywhere on the vehicle?
there should be a paint code i think on the door, however the paint code will yield the same color(or the dealer could have screwed up) but it may be b/c the sun faded ur paint so the original paint looks much darker.
take off your gas cap and go to a napa and have them match the paint for you

it should be the drivers side strut tower. it will be in german, but you should be able to make it out. also in the lower left corner of the decal is the BMW color code.
