Angel Eyes

Have any of you tried the 'angel eyes' kits for the E30?

What are your opinions of them?

Cheers.

Personally, I don't really care for them you have the euro elipsoid lights and those are pretty nice, might want to just look into some better bulbs for them. If for any reason your getting new lights I would be interested in your current lights.

i agree with nick. Angel eyes are too modern for an old classic like the E30.

I second both their comments. I got to see what they look like on an E30 here and i'm glad I followed nick's advice before. It looks perfect just like that.

Thanks for the replies guys; think I will follow this advise. The fact that the E30 looks better with it's regular lights and retains the classic E30 look is a good point. I'm not wanting to overly modify it, so maybe some better lamps as suggested.

My spot lamps are misted up inside, and I have been told they are sealed units, so better look into that next.

personally I think they look good on an E30. I have them on mine and are a nice mod. Here's some pics of them at night:

They do look very nice! I've seem lots on ebay for really cheap prices. I was under the impression the E30 lights (the spots at least) were sealed units. If you don't mind me asking where did you get yours, what sort of price are they, and did you fit them yourself?
