suspension options..springs only

well i am thinking of changing my springs (front), i would like to lower it a bit for that racy feel and it would look better IMO, although i am not hard on the car. i was wondering if i am to lower the springs, can i use my old shocks (replaced with bilstein already) and tires, i dont want to lower it to the point where i have to replace rims/tires,just the springs, i am on the budget .

if i want to lower my front only, would that affect handling and driving with keeping the rear with stock springs.

the link below lists some options for springs, which ones have u guys/gals used or have some1 that has tried them and you recommend, i wish i can come across some used ones

thanks in advance

H&R Sport Springs will make a nice drop at a decent price, What Bilstein's did you replace the old ones with? You might also want to check out Ireland Engineering Stage 3 Springs they will do about

If your looking for used ones check out e30tech.com classifieds I think springs pop up from time to time

i think i got the touring bilsteins, is there a way to tell for sure, any number or logo to look for on them, or it's written what type they are. i wasn't driving the car at the time so i am not sure what kind they are.

so if i replace them with the H&R springs, i don't have to touch my tires or rims correct?

thanks for the advise.
