yeah, i'm fairly well educated about all of the engine problems and such. in fact i specifically want an e30 because it doesn't have the electronic problems of the e36 and anything above an e36 is out of my price range (and e30s look pretty sweet, too).

I will as soon as i get some! It looks just like your sig, though. The only serious exterior flaw is a medium sized ding on the hood and some paint issues on the sunroof. The only serious interior flaw is the horn part on the steering wheel is cracked. other than that it looks pretty much like new! the seats show no wear (that i've seen) and the dash is uncracked (another problem i've seen on EVERY e30 for sale).

so yeah, i'm pretty excited.

EDIT: i forgot - it is a 5-speed and the shift knob is broken, but i wanted to get an ///M knob anyway

Heres as many pictures as i feel like sending to photobucket right now.

I would like to point out that the decal on the rear window is the original one that came from the dealership way back when this was a new car.

My (hopefully) future mods:

dinan chip
chin/rear spoiler (not sure what kind yet)
illuminated ///M shift knob
shortshifter kit
angel eyes (maybe...haven't decided)
blacked out grill (maybe)
and many more to come (Lord willing)

from what i read the TMS chip works better. But nick has a dinnan chip and i think he likes it..so doesnt really matter.

i have a B/M short shifter...i recommend it.

Dont get Depo lights..they are POS. go the whole nine yards and get quality.

sweet. it looks great, especially the interior. you leaving that window decal on?

id black out the chrome around the windows first, shadowline ftw.

i also noticed that on your read deck it looks like you dont have any tweeters. are those aftermarket speakers?

iX ftmfw!

if the decal is from the dealership as i was told, i think i might keep it on, just to be old-school

i'm undecided about the shadowline. i kinda like the contrast against the black. i also need to decide if i want to black out the grill. i like the way it looks on black e30s but you know its different when its your car and you don't wanna do something you'll regret.

the whole sound system is stock. its pretty good for 1990, and i think i'll keep the stereo and get a cassette ipod adapter. aftermarket speakers might be coming soon. i'm content for now, though.

overall, i'm VERY happy with it. short shifter coming soon, can't wait!
