Question Looking to upgrade my '88 528e

Hey guys...I have a 1988 528e automatic and I was trying to find out if I could fit an M3 or an M5 engine with a manual transmission into the car. I'd really love to get this done but im not sure whether or not it's possible, although I'm pretty sure the chassis is the right size for an m5 engine. Also, I really need some pointers in the aesthetics department. The red interior lights I have now aren't too great because they don't quite match the slightly orange backlighting in the dash. I've looked high and low for body kits and the like for this car and have only found about 3 different front bumpers. Apparently the e28 isn't as popular as the e30. :-P Anyway, anything that would help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
