Moneyshifts don't mess the transmission up, they destroy the engine. The PO probaly powershifted or double clutched or just did not know how to properly drive a manual.

Tranny went? Last ive heard there was issues when long term abuse occured to the 540 tranny's.... About the guy who wants to sell you the M5 tranny... pass on that ... ive seen that guys name before on other boards... all were complaints..as stated above...
