Racing Dynamics or Conforti Intakes

Wondering if anyone has any opinion on which one is better:

Conforti Cold Air Intake Kit:

or, Racing Dynamics Intake Kit:

I read somewhere that on the e34 the cold air intake is as good as its going to get, i guess this doesnt hold true for the e39?

I read reviews about the conforti intake on e39 giving the car some additional boost. Aren't they both cold air intakes?

Also, does the size of intake matter? longer intake pipes let you have colder air boosting hp a bit(being farther away from the engine block) however, due to its long nature of the pipe, the pressure drops which drops hp a bit. so net gain might be very small. Anyone who can confirm this, and anyone who knows if the conforti intake is longer than the racing dynamics one? or vice-versa.

Well if a intake drops down into the fender you dont have to worry as much about heat from the engine. And i think something too big over 4inches wouldnt provide enough pressure. Im thinking maybe 3 inches is a good size for an intake.

Hmmph I tried searching for the length of the conforti intake pipe, but no luck. Would you happen to know off hand what it is? or the racing dynamics one? or do you recommend some other intake kit.

PS. I like your second ride ... :lol

Ghost, you could try to email each company about the dimensions. I only have experience with the Dinan. I would imagine that the conforti and the racing dynamic would be very similar to the HP gains. Maybe 2-5 HP.

True true, will do :clap
