Thanks for the advice, now for my next question, I have never worked on a BMW before, how difficult is to to change out the starter on a 528? I have done it before on a few ford/hondas. Also anyone know who sells a good starter for a reasonalble price?

One of our sponsors, GetCoolParts.com has a replacement starter for $118. Please consider them first because they're a supporter of United Bimmer (also by being a sponsor we assure they're a reputable company).

See if that link works.
