My First 5
So I got my first 5 series. 1989 535i stick. This car is EFIN amasing. I thought my E36 was cool. This car has every bell and whistle I could imagine. And for a car this old it is in fantastic condition. Not a spot of rust anywhere on the car. Me and my buddy looked for over an hour for rust only. Mechanically it is near perfect, the only problem is a sweating oil pan and a sweating differential. Oh yeah, and the a/c doesnt work and the heater only blows on high. And the a/c is bypassed so Im not wasting any power.
Pics coming soon.

Sweet!
That kicks ass, I'm looking forward to pics. Sounds like you have some minor work, but all-in-all a pretty solid car. How many miles and what kind of deal did you get on it?

why does every non-e36 owner hate e36's?!!? my bro has an e28, and e36 owners do like the m5s, so quit hatin! besides, just b/c they are EXTREMELY popular doesnt mean they are bad cars

If your ac only works on high you need a blower resistor, about 28$ at a dealer. its located behind your ashtray behind the drivers right side kick pannel. 1 philips screw and pull down the pannel.
