my car flooded
so 3 days ago we had a big rain storm. and since i unclogged my sunroof drain it actualy works. well since the drain runs into the rocker panel thingy, and that was cloged. the rain ( i mean torential rain) ended up backing up onto the floor boards and flooded the entire passenger side of my car. bastards right.

If I were you I'd take it to a car wash and have the carpets professionally cleaned. That wet-carpet smell is horrible.
At least it didn't damage anything like electrical systems or whatnot.

( i dont want to rip apart my car in the parking lot of my school and not be able to get soemthing back together)

its been 7 days since the flooding. and im proud to say all majore deflooding hase been completed. small " insurgent" pockets of water may pop up from time to time but i think im confident to say "mission completed" and mind you at only HALF the civilian casualties of iraq

My roof started leaking water onto the driver side and back driver side. I didn't know where it was coming in till I took it to a glass shop and the guy said the drain line off the sunroof was disconnected. So he reconnected it and there's never been any water since. I suggest you clean it out and reconnect it as soon as possible, the water has to go somewhere! Don't want you to wreck your headliner or anything else.

To unclogged all sunroof drains, locate where they all drain to (lower rockers, etc..) Then at the lowest point use compressed air -NOTE: make sure sunroof is open & interior is covered!!! You will see all kinds of crap come up - bugs, leaves and anything else that could get in. Dealers can do this but they hammer you for something like 2.5hrs flat rate & it takes at most 20mins.

on my e28, for the driver side i just took out the front speakers, pulled the hose up. put the end in a little bucket, ran a thick piece of plastic line down it ( it was like, MEGA weed wacker line or sumthing.) then rinsed, and repeat.
iv tried to blow it out, but the clog was near the bottem of the hole, so the plastic stuff worked better.
then on the passengerside i took off the speaker as before, pulled it up and blew it out with my mouth
