E12, E28, E34, E39, E60General discussion and technical help for all year 5 series cars.
These are the pics off of ebay, the car has every option available i think.. the original invoice was 45,595.
Anyways.. its got 147,000 on it, came with snow tires, and is dealer maintained.. it has EVERY record since it was bought new in 95. All the dealer maintenance has been completed and its had the entire cooling system replaced 1 year ago. Has brand new brakes, fuel pump, and a shitload of random other stuff.. probably in the range of 10k in dealer maintenace charges.
its pretty fucking tight, handles extremely well for a 4000LB car, and is soooo comfy..

haha, yea its not going to get driven to hard i dont think, but my dad actually was doing some high speed weaving on the way back from picking it up.. weird seeing him do that shit, hes just not a car guy.
The car shows its weight through the corners compared to my car though, i drove the thing for about 5 minutes around some country roads and no way in hell would i feel comfortable kicking the tail out in that thing, maybe il get used to it eventually, idk.. when i push my car it just feels like a much more rigid chassis, more predictable too. Whatever il see what it can do tomorrow..
It really does look hot though.. heres my inspiration looks wise:
basically.. shadowline+buff+rims+drop = money
No use in trying to make this thing faster, it weighs somewhere arond 3800lb's.

ya contours are sick on those cars! they are much heavier than an e36 for sure but if you tighten up the sway bars and get it lowered it helps tremendously on handling! you'd be suprised how many track e34s there are. i like mine cause its very predictable once you get used to the break point

yea it will most def. be lowered eventually, it will look sick with a nice forward rake, and the handling will benifit a lot from a drop im sure.
I think im going to throw the contours on it eventually.. just to see how it will look, but the contours in those pics are replicas 17x8.5 up front and 17x10 in the rear.. the lip looks so fucking sexy..
its ass will look so nice with wide tires/rims in the rear.. imo the rear end is the best part, it looks so good from behind.
Your inspiration is also a 540. Check out the really agressive looking front brake ducts.
Wrong, the owner put a 540 spoiler on it, its a 2.5L.
Aight.. the official future mod list..
Staggered contours
Shadowline
Tint
Sachs sport suspension
Or M5 springs, because the shocks are almost brand new.
Or H&R sport springs
Thats it. The car needs absolutely nothing, it rides so smooth.. it feels like a brand new car.
Ive got to take some pics of the carpet, its unreal, the previous owner had gigantic stock floormats over the carpet then gigantic rubber ones over those, so the carpet is as i said, fucking unreal.. it looks like it came right out of the showroom.
Yeah you cut the front lip on the stock car and splice it in. Pretty difficult to do, ive always contemplated it but now im looking at a ACS 4 piece body kit.

Thanks!! The exterior needs a buff, but the interior is in MINT condition.. soo comfy with the captain like chairs up front, especially with the arm rests.
