This maybe should be it another forum, but here they are!
In my signature you can see that I have an '84 528e.
I have a 3.3 that is going in it that I have already rebuilt.
I still have a lot of work to do on it as you can see.
It has been awesome working on it!
I have the euro bumpers, lights, taillights, and grills for it!
I have atached a picture of what it will look like when it is done!

I have given myself a year and 1/2 to finish it.
After I have finished it I will be looking for a 2002 to restore for my son when he gets old enough to drive.

Good choice on the 02 dave :thumbup

I got my 02 from the original owner when I was 15 and I can't imagine having a better first car. IMO it is one of the greatest cars to learn how to drive in. No computers to help you out, and sheer direct driving pleasure.

The 528 is going to look awesome when it's complete. Still looks like you have a ways to go on the body tho. Good luck :cheers

Thanks! I am going to try to find some pics of when I first got it.
I have been a fan of the 02 for as long as I can remember.
I will more than likely be asking you alot of questions as soon as I get one.
I am always keeping my eye out for an 02.
I figure if I find one soon I can always put it in storage until the 5 is done.

Now, I'd like to repeat this for the God knows which time... I would like to move in with you. :D Garage is fine, and I'll help out with whatever you're doing. lol

Hoppy 07-12-2005 05:11 PM

dave you are the king of e28s

So your putting an m30 in the other eta 5? Thats going to be tight. Ive heard that chips do wonders for the m30 motors.

This one is going to be VERY sexxy too.

Pack of Marlboro & a Mountain Dew on the hood . . you'll go through a lot of those in the next year & a half. Good luck with the project!

Torque 07-13-2005 01:11 PM

btw, Dave, is this car going to get a new suspension and wheels ? It would be a shame if it was that nice, but sittin' up in the sky with stock wheels.
