Infamous Tourque Converter Clutch Circuit Open?
Here it is on my 528i 99'. After fixing one issue of all my sparkplugs and all my ignition coils so the car would run right, now I have another check engine light. Well I hadn't noticed any unusual performance, especially since changing out the parts a day ago I felt the car was running better than when I bought her a month ago at 113k miles. I happened to pull into Autozone and check the light to see what the problem might just be. Getting a P0740 Torque converter clutch open circuit error. Well that's no fun especially after having to scrape up the money to change the other parts while still on vacation in Florida out of state!  Any Ideas what could be wrong here guys? Maybe the transmission needs to be flushed or is it more serious than that? |
