E39 540i pre vanos inlet manifold

Hi All,

I am new to the forum and have read about some people swapping their inlet manifold (if they have a later M62 engine) with the earlier non vanos inlet manifold.

Does anyone have experience of this?

Were there any negative effects (low down torque decrease etc)?
