Well, the gremlin got my wipers. I have a 2000 528i. When the weather got cool my wipers would not work until the temp came up. This morning, they would not work period and still won't at 72*. Any ideas ??? Thanks

Not working when cold but working when warm USUALLY indicates an open in a control module circuit board. Really cold, the parts contract and the copper trace opens - no function. Gets warm, board expands, copper trace closes - function. It also may not cause a trouble code depending on when it happens, or at least one you can see with a generic code reader.

W/S wiper problem
Big Evil - Thanks for your reply. The trouble is now that today it is 70 here and still no wipers. The only thing working is the washer. I checked the fuse. It's OK. Is there a relay? By the way, I have a scan tool and it does not show anything, just like you said. Thanks, mdrexusa
