E34 fuel pump/wont start
So far i have replaced the fuel pump relay, and dme with used relays but i can usually trust the place i got them from. the fuel pump fuse is fine. the fusible red wire fuse is fine. fuel pump works i took it out and hooked it to my generator box and it pumps so i tried starting the car while it was hooked to that and still nothing. im thinking thats because it did not have enough power becasue it sounded like it wanted to start but not enough fuel to stay running.
does anyone know any other reason my fuel pump would not be turning on?
pleaase help!!!

crank sensor is located near the engine fan, pulleys and belts it's in the front part of the engine, if the fuel pump is not working then you have to replace it, when my car stalled the first time because of the fuel pump, one remedy i did was to hit (not to hard) the area where the fuel pump is located, sometimes the fuel line gets clogged in the pump, the old "hammer the thing" gets it working again but it is best that you have it checked and replaced if necessary

yeah, ill probably have to just break down and spend too much too have this looked at cause i know its something simple but the fuel pump works. just not from the cars power. i took it out and hooked it to a power source and it works.
