540i knocking sound coming from front end
I drove my car to work last week and on my way back home I started hearing a distinct knocking sound coming from the front end of my car,I could also feel the knocking through the car.
It would vary according to my driving speed and it was very hard while taking corners even at very slow speeds.
I drove the car home and left it untill saturday and got in the car to take it for a short drive to see whether the problem was still there.
And the problem was gone,but I still believe something must be wrong so I'm leaving the car safe and sound untill I can figure out what the problem was.
It sounds exactly the same as a front drive car would sound when the cv joints as shot.
Could this be problem with my suspension,brakes or wheel bearings ?
