E39 Lights Flicker when at idle or when braking
I have a 2000 E39 and when I step on the brakes the lights flicker for a quick sec then normal. When this is happening I notice that all my lights have a very slight constant flicker. This doesn't happen all the time. It's very random, and sometimes I can turn the car off and restart, and it's fine. Any body with similar issues or have any idea how to fix this? Alternator, LCM, GM...?

Loose connector, weakening alternator/battery is also possible. Check your battery connections, clean and tighten if necessary. Have the batt and charging system tested. Next steps can get expensive and complicated.

Battery... check!
I have checked all connections to and from battery and grounds. My next step is to have the alternator cleaned and/or replaced. I have to go in for a intake gasket replacement, so I'll have them do it then. Just a very annoying problem, and sometimes, it's bad enough to look like I'm flashing my lights at people.
