E39 528i 98 Help car maintenance. What to look for ?
My car is a 1998 5 series 528i Touring with almost 230000 kms and i bought it with near 225000, made a checkup and then went to an Inspec II before i get it! Well when i bought my car it had made an Inspection II with 225000 kms so i need some help to know what can i expect from now on with maintenance: i bought it knowing it has been on BMW dealers just till 140000 kms. Now it went to a dealer and made an Insp II where it changed: - engine oil Castrol Longlife 04 0w30 - filters (oil and air) - AC belts and other belts i suppose related to these like these one i dont know what means 6PKX1555 - some rear axle rubbers i dont remember correct name but it is related to suspension - microfilters - some silentblocks - brake discs/pads apart from these nothing more important. So, i would like to have an idea of what am i expecting to change for next time i went to inspection I/oilservice or what will be next service... Thanks! |

check the faq. cooling system (the whole thing from belts to pump to even the tiny screw for the expansion tank).
