Annoying wiper problem
 

Hi my name is Keith T and I posted this fault before but UB's hardrive crashed and lost it. Still i didn't get a reply anyway. I have a 1989 520ise sitting on my drive and now out of M.O.T beacause the wipers automatically come on as soon as I switch the ignition on. Sometimes on intermediate speed ,sometimes in slow. I have changed both the modules under the rear seat,the wiper moter,the relays and the wiper stalk but it hasn,t made any difference at all. The only method of stopping them working is to pull out the fuse or relay under the rear seat. The two fuses under the bonnet marked wipers dont stop it! I am sure that there must be one person out there who knows the answer as the local B.M.W. agent has run out of ideas. I need to get an M.O.T. on this car so come on guys get the old grey matter working for me. Regards Keith T
