Greeting Bimmer Fans!

Just a quick fyi here! This month's current issue (#73; April 2008) of Bimmer Magazine (www.bimmer-mag.com) features a special write-up and analysis on my ride! Well, NOT exactly my ride here, but a more synister looking "black-on-black" version.

So, if you happen to venture near a newsrack soon, check it out! All in all, the test editors at Bimmer concluded that the Dinan S1-tuned 545 is certainly one very accomplished high performance sports sedan. Pretty neat, if I say so myself. :laugh :woot

i got a subscription to bimmer mag, but havent gotten to that article yet! cant wait tho!

Here's an excerpt from the technical editors at Bimmer Magazine pulled directly from the current April 2008 magazine issue on my Dinan S1-Tuned
E60 5 Series:

"The exhaust note is powerful and muscular without being intrusive or loud. To call the sound magical doesn't really do it justice. Unlike many cars that combine an automatic with a free-flow exhaust, the Dinan S1-545i sounds like the two parts are actually working together rather than merely revealing each other's presence in a blatantly obvious way. There is no drone, no burble - just a nice, sonorous hum that reminds the driver of the power underfoot."

"Even with the automatic, the Dinan S1-545i is the sweetest E60 short of an M5 we've ever driven. It may not have the power of an M5, but it does have comparable handling and braking, two factors that are probably more important when it comes to everyday driving enjoyment. Two thumbs up!"

I love the e60. I'm looking at an e60 550i right now, 06-07 used...but I'm trying to convince myself to get an 08. We'll see what happens. I got to work some more OT.
