Exhaust Question

Does anyone know if the B&B triflow exhaust for the e39 540i is any good as an upgrade. Looking for more v8 sound.....

Love to hear a sound clip.

just search for "BMW 540 exhaust" on youtube. I was looking and there are some pretty sweet sounding cars.

....decided to do a custom exhaust; the local muffler shop did a custom SS catback with x-pipe and dual magnaflows...cost $900 CDN. :)

Looks stock except for the side by side downturned tips.

Certainly doesn't sound stock tho!

man, the stocker was heavy and full of water.
