New 525i
Well, I've upgraded to a 1990 525i... she's a beauty and runs like a dream (so far). After seeing the 'What will go wrong' for the E34's I'm nervous. Hopefully I'll be able to take care of things before they actually become an issue.
Here're a couple pics from when I picked her up, I put my gunmetal rims on there once I got home (will put those up when I'm home from work tonight).
hmm... if the first rims were a bit bigger, I'd choose them over the gunmetal ones... but only on this car. The gunmetals looked sleak on your other cars

Thanks! I liked the original rims also, but wasn't about to let these others go with the '75 when I sold it (yes, unfortunately I had to get rid of the project... apartment living sucks a fat one). I'm going to have the car repainted and get some new suspension, so the rims will look even better under her.
It's good to be back... should be around a little more. New schedule @ work, moving, etc etc. All the fun stuff. The kicker though (and part that I've still got a shit-eatin grin over) is I'mma be a daddy in another 6-7 months
A quick item on the side here... I've noticed in the last couple days (granted I've only have the car since Sat the 9th, and didn't notice it during the test drive) that when I get on it and let off the gas from a high rpm the check engine light comes on for 1-3sec, and sometimes also the brake fluid light (same length of time) weather and time of day don't make a difference (and I don't try it when she's still cold). I've check the brake fluid and it's full. I don't have anything to diagnose the car with at this point, nor the $$ to take it into a shop right now. Any ideas on what I might want to look at/try?
