e34 interior lights problem
 

hi all,i am new here and also new bmw owner.i have problem with my `89 525i interior lights.they just wont work
so,is there relay under rear seat for interior lights?i have empty slot there its 6-pins what relay supposed to be there?

Your interior lights are controled by your "GM" general moduel, which is under your rear seat. Your looking at 400 for a new moduel. Ive tryed swaping out mine but the one I had was a different part #, didnt change a thing. My 5 has the same problem and it has a green colored GM. The newer styles come in black, as for yours it might be green.

i have black box also..everything else is checked so i guess that gm box is the problem..
