Starting Problem on my E39
 

I have a 1997 BMW 528i it was in an accident but now is fixed now when I try to start the car nothing happens. Everything illuminates on the dash and when I'm standing outside the car using the key the doorlocks open and close by the keypad on the key. What should I do next? Can this problem be resolved without bringing it to the dealer to change the security computer and key.
