Well it sucks for my first thread in awhile to this. I was on my way to our senior night football game at about 6:34. I went around a corkscrew curve(its soo fun). I cant remember if another car was coming or not....but for some reason I moved over in my lane during the curve away from the yellow line. My car went off the road and the right side was running up against a bank. I get it back on the road but I'm headin for the other side of the road now. I turned it back and the rear end fishtailed around and the car slid off the road on the other side.....went a little ways and hit a fence and flipped it 1 1/2 times, landed on the passengers side......damn. I wasn't hurt at all. The roof is dinted and pushed in a little on the front passengers side, the hood has a dent, the front apron is messed up, both fog lights are shattered, the a couple of the fenders are dented, the rear bumper is hanging off on the passengers side and there is a long dent and paintless spot on the drivers side b pillar where it hit one of the metal steaks on the wire fence on the first flip, the windshield is shattered and push in some, both rearview mirrors were knocked off and there are various other small dings I cant thing about. I flipped at the only place on the entire road that didn't have a tree....and 30-40 foot gap in between two big patches, a few seconds sooner or later and I would be dead. I'm hoping nothing is wrong drivablity wise, nothing looked too bad under the car, not sure about the enging tho. But if it is ok I'm going to fix the windshield and mirrors and keep driving it since I cant get another. But if any of you are thinking about giving away your BMW.....it'll have a nice and newly enlightened home right here.

Airbags out? Totalled car.
Been involved in a rollover incident? Totalled Car.

Damn that sucks, Why did it go off the road where going into the turn too fast ?

I was but I wasn't.....well I was. I was going to fast to stay all the way in my lane but there is never anyone coming the other way....this time there was and thats what got me in trouble. I know the engine wasn't running great when I stopped but I cut it off as soon as I could. A few minutes ago I went out and checked the oil and started her right up....a bit of smoke from tailpipes....white though. I think it'll still run, getting ready to go get some estimates on the body work now. I'll post some pictures later. Thanks for the consern guys.

Yeah it looks pretty good for what happened. If I would've been in something else it wouldn't be as pretty and neither would I. I'm definatly not driving anything else from now on....if I can't get this one fixed I'll just wait until I can get another....cause I don't trust anything else now.

i always found that bimmers, especially older ones, handle pretty well in an accident.

that is bad enough tho that i would have to consider not repairing it, but i understand why you want to.

I'm getting it towed to the garage that handles my stuff on monday, and if the guy there can't do it for cheap enough for me I'll just have to do without until after basketball when I can get a job. He was going to repaint it several months ago(calypso red!) and fix all my dents for 600....and I've seen his work he's good but he loves to do it so he doesn't charge much. I didn't have money to spare for a paint job then but I'm hoping his price wont be too bad for this, that is if its road worth; I've only started it un I haven't tried driving it yet.
