and, i have the same transmission..its not all that bad...ok slow sometimes but u learn to deal with it. I love it how it adapts to your driving. I got mine to upshift for me at any rpm in Sport mode by tapping the gas. heh
*edit*
only thing i don't like is the steering wheel. cant stand most of BMW's steering wheels. atleast not from 2000-2006ish. meh.

Step away from the forum for a few days and look at everything I miss!!
Congrats, Dude! Very nice looking piece of automobie, if I may say so myself! Gonna leave the auto for the metro traffic? lol :-D

Despite bumper to bumper metro traffic, I would have still opted for a manual, but it was more important to me that I get a car that was mechanically sound, and there's no beating this one . . at 97k mi, it looks and feels like it just came off the showroom floor. The others I'd looked at weren't even close to the condition this one is in. The only issue I've found was a worn sway bar link, a $17 part and 5 min to fix. And even tho it's not the colors I wanted, it's got a lot more options than I was hoping to get.
Truth be told, I was also looking at Audi A6's and the Merc C Class, but they just don't compare IMO. And the Scion is, well, a Scion . . compared side by side, I chose the used 5'er over a new tC for the same price, no contest
