535i doors wont unlatch

1990 Bmw 535i 4dr.
Back doors will not unlatch.
The child lock is not on
although it wouldt matter, you can't open the doors inside or out, theyre just locked. you can't mannualy pull up on the door latch either. it won't come up.

i looked at all the fuses, solenoids and stuff, everything looked fine.

Ps. The battery is charged.

try resynchronizing your door locks. Lock all the doors from pass front door then unlocking from drivers door. Do it a couple of times to make sure.

didnt work, both front dorrs unlock. the back ones are still stationary

when you locked the doors (to do resync) did you go to the single lock position 45 degrees or the 90 degree position? To do it properly from the pass door you must go to the 90 deg position/double lock pos. Also check after it's locked that the trunk and fuel filler dooris locked also. You might also try locking & unlocking via trunk lock - rear actuators are notorius for weird symptoms. (I'm curious how did you check "solenoids" and child locks?)

Ill do it again in a few hours and double check that. Its pouring right now.

Well, It wouldnt be child locks, if there even is child locks(i dont pay attention to the doors much) they wouldnt be initiated because both doors are stuck closed so initiating child lock wouldnt be an option.

I didn't check solenoids, my father did, he said he took one to radio shack and it still didn't work when he put it back in the car.

sounds like the rear door are stuck in double lock mode. i had the same problem, i removed the rear seat and door sill trim. Next I removed the rubber seal around the door as much as possible. this is the only way to remove the door panel with the door still locked..slide a long flat rod down the inside of the panel to help pop out as many plugs as you can. now from the outside, reach in and pull up on the door panel and remove it. now you can access the door lock actuator.
