Just how finiky is the E34 M30's headgasket? I mean do I really have to BMW coolant only, or it will fail like I have read on bmwe34.net???

You can use any good quality coolant but factory coolant is made so it doesn't effect any of the multiple surfaces & materials it comes in contact with. (BMW coolant is a better grade coolant vs the Prestones, Zerexs' etc...)

so I guess its time for a radiator flush asap! what other companies sell a comparable grade coolant to BMW?
