"BMW has already “in works” the next instalment of their successful executive saloon. Several test mules have been spotted, pointing that a production ready 5 Series is to be released in the next three or four years. The current BMW 5 Series is around for more than 4 years, meaning that it is well in its middle age, and needing a successor around the year 2010. The next generation 5-Series will grow in overall length, by extending the wheelbase nearly 3 inches and widening the track, so will be bigger then the actual one..."

Looks like the CS concept :dunno

Looks like a mix between an e60 and and e64.

heh...It looks pissed off.

So I clicked on the link. As I suspected, the picture above is the CS concept -- not the next 5er. By the way, that CS looks pissed off because it looks like a Dodge Charger ftl.

I sure hope that isn't what it looks like. I would be shocked if BMW out something that ugly into production.

Almost reminds me of the Maserati Quattroporte

its got similar lines to the db9....dont like it at all

I dont like it yet it looks too much like a concept

I like it, I like the nice wide wheelbase, goot for handling.

It's like they put random creases in the sheet metal and messed up the front end to make sure it was ugly. Although I have to say the headlight are what bother me the most.

But yeah I like the general shape of the car.
