help with cup holders
first time on the forum. I need help with my '02 530, the cheap plastic cup holder arms have snapped off... is there a reasonably strong alternative to replace these? thanks in advance.
There is no strong alternative that fits in the same spot.
Pelican Parts sell the OEM replacements for $46 and $55.50 for the front and rear, respectively. Link: Pelican Parts OEM Replacements
BavAuto has some stronger alternatives but they do not fit in the same spot. Go to BavAuto and search for cup holders under your year and model.
What we did in my mom's car is we took out the cup holders until the new one came in. Removal of the front is done by a Phillips screw found once the cup holders are "open". The back is the same. After that, just wiggle it out. Real easy.
