two things, coolant, or a ton of unburnt gas, do you have to crank your car for a WHILE before it starts up?

I have read that this can be normal on cold startups from a rich mixture

starts first time. no problems. like a brand new car. done 105,000 miles. smells burnt. don't think its oil though

also. it isn't always from a cold start. can be turned off for only 30 mins and does it. strange

ouch, may be your coolant which would really suck, check yoru coolant level, unburnt gas can cause it, however too rich will cause black smoke
