eagle one wheel cleaner
Has anyone used eagle one all tire & wheel cleaner on style 32 rims? It damaged the finish om my rims.

Sorry to hear that

Man that sucks!
I use Meguairs Hot Rims for mine and wifes, Chrome and clearcoated finishes, no problem. Just don't let it dry. |
It's kind of late for this but for all forum folks "READ the BOTTLE carefully" - some of these wheel cleaners state that it's not safe on clear coated wheels. Most of these that are for use on aluminum and porus wheels are acid and will eat through clear coated finished wheels. On chrome or polished wheels use "Never Dull"
Sorry to hear of your mis fortune - check locally for a wheel company that specializes in wheel straightening, they usually do or know of someone to restore your clearcote. |

However, I NEVER let the cleaner dry and always keep the wheel wet while cleaning. Do one wheel at a time and out of direct sunlight. Sorry to hear your troubles though. Perhaps post a picture of the problem? If it's just clearcoat, you can get that repaired for about $150 or less. |
^dude another old thread.
