Good 'ol Cleaning

Thought I'd share:

Previous night (5pm tp 9pm)
Washed with Dawn
Clayed with Clay Magic
Washed with Dawn, again.

Next morning (8:30am to 12:30pm)
Klasse All-In-One
Klasse Glaze/Sealant
P21s Wax coating

Same day (12:36pm)
Body Ache

All products purchased from DetailedImage.com They gave me a decent deal and some free applicators, microfiber towels and lube.

Must seriously change my sig, it looks like shit compared to the above pic.

BTW, what's the deal with the jaggedness of the reflected images? It's not the camera or the resizing. That's how it looks with the eye.

jaggedness is probably the orange peel...

its normal
when they paint your car, gravity pulls the paint down a little, giving it that effect.
its more noticable on vertical panels since paint can slide down when its not dry yet.

and did you use DAWN soap, as in what you wash your dishes with?

and why did you wash your car after using claybar?

You should ALWAYS wash your car after claying. Make sure you get it all.

Yep, DAWN as in for dishes. It's for the first time washing. Supposedly it's suppose to clean off all the previous layers of whatever is on there. I won't use it for every wash, just that initial one after not truely washing her for a long time. I washed after the clay as to ensure that i've cleaned off all the clay residue. Only took 5-10 min. No biggie, just guaranteed that the surface was clean of all contaminants before the I applied the polish.

I just did my car yesterday and I noticed the 'jaggies' too. I think maybe the wax magnifies the effect.

I do, but that doesn't mean that there will be no residue left.

A good wetsand and buff would clear that right up.

But thats if it's just the clear coat, this seems to be under that layer.
