What leather cleaner do you use?
Would like to hear from you people who have leather seats. I used Lexol wipes today because it said it wouldn't leave the seat greasy. They were right- only it left the seats sticky I just want a product that cleans and nourishes the leather without leaving anything, or at least not too much.

Here's something a little out of the ordinary I picked up at the suggestion of my cobbler-- Meltonian Leather Balm. Easy to use, does a nice job, kinda like hand lotion for the seats. And I gather Meltonian knows something about leather care.

Are you looking for a cleaner or a conditioner? We use Zymol leather cleaner on the E39's. It's not sticky at all. As for conditioners, I think you'll be hard pressed to find one that isn't sticky, but good luck Chrys.

I use Leatherique. The conditioning oil and the prestine clean.
I think you can get it at autogeek.net.

Re: lexol . . I tried the wipes that come in a canister, it's more of a conditioner. You mean they're all gonna be sticky like that? Maybe I'll just use a cleaner every once in a while?? I'll also give the other brands mentioned a try.

I have used the Meguiars cleaner and conditioner. It works great, but it leaves the greasy, slick feeling.

i use Eagle One leather care...cleans and conditions all in one step! works great....used it twice and softened the leather and restored the black....rub it in..and wipe it with a clean towel ( was using micro fibre towels) and thats pretty much it. No slipping around or leaving residue on your clothes, there's a nano version of this which is supposed to be better...but very happy with this. The only thing it won't do is restore old dried out leather.

I bought some stuff a while back, has worked well so far. Meguiars I believe.. No sticky feeling, but brought a bit of a shine back out in the seats, and restored the black.
