Acid Rain/Scratches

Hello everyone,

I just rescued an 01 E46 from an abused home. Bought it right, and the engine is now up to snuff. But is has some scratches and acid rain spots. I will probably have a recon paint job when I get more $$, any suggestions for help in the interim?

Thanks

Mack

You might want to try a claybar and then a wax.

If that doesn't work you might want to go a step higher and use a rubbing compound, but be careful not to rub to hard or you might do more damage to the paint. After that give it a nice was and wax, I think you will see a nice improvement that way.

as above try maguires claybar and detailing spray, then i swear by using zymol wax, imo the best there is.

My friend have just got a site for spam removed for his m3's acid rain spots... the repaint or should I say the waxing term. I'm not that so sure about it... But it's quite good and effective. The color turns back to original.
