They do have feces (as in poop) in them. This was confirmed to me (thankfully) just before I ate one.

if you get a handful of shrimp, there will be a few in there with crap in em. you can see it. and its sold and eaten like that.

sold, but not eaten, the reason i say this is b/c ive cleaned otu shrimp before, its very visible and you can clean it all out, atleast whenever i eat shrimp its cleaned out

Need i remind you all that shrimp are bottomfeeders like catfish, and as such, eat the shit that none of the other fish will take on its way to the bottom. 75% of the worlds shrimp are caught within ten nautical miles of Illegal dumping zones on the ocean floor.

Just to name a few. Its amazing what you learn working at a seafood restaurant

Dude, these were cooked popcorn shrimp aka ready to be eaten. My girlfriend started to pick one apart when she noticed the shit tube inside.

Seafood is to fucking soggy to be eaten anyway.

well then you went to a CRAPPY resteraunt, the first thign you do is remove the tube then after it is removed very carefully clean out any excess that may have dropped from the tube, if the tube was still there you should have made them give you your money back, that is definately not how all resteraunts are
