Pioneer DEH-7800mp display not working

anyone have any experience with this unit? I had it for three months, went away on vacation, got back and the screen didn't light up...

is there a fuse that controls the display separately?

anyone?

Okay here's what you do, go to your the nearest retailer that has Head units on display and take the working plate off the display one. Then make a sneaky switch and put your broken one on the display.

^^^ Just throw them both in the air grab one and run. 50% chance you'll get either the good one, or you'll just be were you started.

Hate to admit it, but he's got a point

That unit is still a current model.

BUT not sure where you can buy one from, BB doesn't carry those on floor

i wouldn't think the code would be different if it was the same unit.
