Oh, and we finally installed my IVAD100 today, so I know how nice it is...

And if you just want a smaller screen without a double din or flip up, the JVC KDAVX2 and 1 are decent decks...the screens are small but still easily watchable...
hey i like that JVC unit nice price too , the other rooz are what i dream about but just not in my budget.

I think we were waiting for you to figure that one out on your own Just run new wires through the dashboard from the HU directly to the speakers in the footwells. Simple enough?

Sounds simple enough, yes, but go back to my original question. I was just wondering if I need to somehow "bypass" the factory amp or use any special harnesses, etc. Or would the colors just match up, speaker for speaker?

Anyone have a wiring diagram for the back of the head unit?

Wow. You blew right by what I was saying. If you're running all new wire, why would you need to bypass anything?

The amp is in the trunk. Why would you use the stock harnesses and go all the way to the trunk, splice a dozen or so wires to bypass the amp, then go all the way back up to the front of the car? That just doesn't make any sense. BUt if you like to do things the hard way, suit yourself:

Good, the SR6000 is pretty cool. Does your ar remote start on the first try? That's usually the only variant when someone does a DIY on remote starts

Well on the very first try it did work, but only stayed on for 10 seconds, but after i programmed it to sense voltage instead of tach it was all good.
