need help as soon as possable have to buy tomorrow around 10

Hey everyone I found the radio that I wanted on sale for a good price but I can't figure out some things about the xm tuners. The first one is a Terk XM™ Universal Tuner that you have to buy the Terk to Pioneer XM™ Digital Adapter for. ( http://www.circuitcity.com/rpsm/oid/...oductDetail.do ) ( http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/produ...?oid=93341&c=1 ) The second one is actually made by pioneer ( http://www.circuitcity.com/rpsm/oid/...Detail.do#tabs ) I don't think that I need to get an adapter for that but on circuit city's site it is showing that same terk adapter as a required accesory. Reviews that I have seen say you don't... I would personally rather have the Pioneer brand as I have never even heard of Terk but if I have to pay an extra $50 I am not sure if it's worth it. Thanks in advance

Yeah thats kind of what I think too. I looked at the instalation manual on pioneers website and I don't think that I need an adapter. It would have been nice had circuit city not posted it as a required accessory. I think bestbuy did too when I looked there...

I know this is too late but...
Terk is old school qulity parts. they have been into antenna receivers etc since long before sat radio came out.

I would have bought the universal piece with the adapter, since if you want to change heads later to another brand, you don't have to change the entire unit. They also tend to be a bit smaller in reciever size.
As far as functionality, they work fantastic.
