2002 VW Beetle Ipod Adapter
So, for my gf's birthday, I decided to get her an ipod adapter for her bug. She had an ipod but has a hard time getting a clear signal in Seattle from her iTrip for her nano. Sooo, I had it taken down to Carter Volkswagen to had it installed. Well, here is the hard part...that I need anybody's contrubution. This is the hardest part that I would like to have solved in the near future. Carter called me and said that my gf had a 6 disc changer, (which I knew), but they said that I could only have 1 channel. So it was either the 6 disc changer OR the ipod adapter. Hmmmmm. So, after sleeping on it, we decided to get the ipod adapter but I want her to have BOTH. I've been trying to research and find information where I could get a harness or something to make both things possible. But here is the kicker.....I want it to be AUTHENTIC. The real deal. I don't want any OEM fake stuff in her car. If anybody has heard of this deal before or knows what I can do, please, please, says something. I looked for pictures of the back of her headunit but couldn't find any.  Carter VW said that VW had something where you could do dual channel (which is what I want), but they haven't recieved it yet/been notified of it yet. So, in the mean time, I'm searching and looking for an answer.

You could always find a way to have a switch that switches between the two of them. Or you could just buy her a bigger Ipod so she doesn't need cd's. After you go Ipod you'll only listen to cd's in the car once in a blue moon anywhoo.

Thanks guys!  Yeah, I think I'll just wait for the updated wire addition to the adapter... Annnd, my gf LOVES that she can play her ipod in her car without static now.
