All XM Subscribers

I dont know who has XM or even satillite on here, but I personally am a Sirius subscriber and quite satisfied customer.

I bought Sirius for Howard Stern, but love ALL of the programming on the other channels. It is DEFINITLY worth the 12.95 a month I pay.

But to ALL XM subscribers you can get your monthly fee reduced to $3 a month for the service and a new radio shipped FREE to you from XM. All you have to do is call up the customer service and tell them that you want to cancel your subscription because you are switching to Sirius. I know two people/friends who did this and get their bill reduced to $3/month. XM is desperate to keep their customer base. Stern also has been talking about this fact that XM only values their service at $3.

Especially since Sirius just announced today that they passed 4 million users and project over 6 million by the end of '06.

You dont even have to have the intention to get rid of XM (if you have it now), XM is desperate.

Prediciton: XM will becoe #2 in the satillite world by the end of 2006. Sirius is a superior service and MUCH better programming. Besides Stern, NASCAR is moving to Sirius after this year. FOX News changed to Sirius after only being on XM for a few months. Point blank Sirius is a contender now that they have signed major DJ's and talent to thier company.

All I have ever heard about XM vs Sirius is that XM has more ground based towers to help reception range. I guess that depends on where you are

trust me they wont say "go ahead" XM is desperate to keep their customers.

Also yes Sirius is a superior service both technologically and programming wise. You can actually connect to the Sirius satellite about 200 miles outside the U.S. and Canada. (i.e the Carribbian (sp) and Mexico etc.)
