Nice work. How difficult was it to figure out? Did you have any help or a book?
It wasn't that bad honestly but I really like things like this and I picked up quickly. You can honestly take apart the entire interior of you BMW with a Phillips head screw driver, a flat head screw driver, and a socket wrench. I had to look up some parts on the internet and had to call Alpine once (apparently on BMWs the Blue wire goes to the blue white wire not the other blue wire). But other than that if went pretty well, except for the placing in of the head unit. Holy crap BMW gives you NO extra space back there, its like trying to fit a square block in a round hole, but you'll get it eventually if you just mess with it. I did have to cut a piece of plastic in the back out to give some more room, but it was a small piece.
Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.
Sure as soon as I get off my ass and take some. I'm scheduled to photograph some bands concert tomorrow so when I got my camera all out and such I'll take some pics.
