subs blew
 
ok so like the title says my subs are blown now. i have a 1800 watt amp with 2 diesal audio 12's (1000watt peak) but they are gone

now. what should i replace to subs with that will sound even
better for under 200 bucks? thanks guys

ok, what kind of amp? model number would help... 1800 watts? peak? RMS (doubt it..) mono or what...

^^^The amp sounds suspect . . subs don't just blow out, unless the amp is faulty or isn't calibrated / set up correctly.

agreed, subs that can handle that much power dont just come and go.

also, you need to realize the differences between peak and RMS power ratings. RMS is what the amp or sub will run at 90% of the time, Peak power is what the manufacturers put on there to make it seem like big shit, you will not often times hit peak power. RMS is often times about 50% of the advertized peak power, but not always. Once you can see the difference, you will be able to match up better subs and amp combo's.
