wire RIGHT front with RIGHT Rear togethere, and LEFT front and LEFT rear togethere...

On a 2 channel amp you'll lose the front to rear fade

Lose the amp, or save it for subs later. Stick with the Clarion's speaker outputs. Or get a 4 channel amp. Plain and simple. Trying to retrofit that 2ch amp to a 4 speaker setup will bring more complications than we can explain to you. Like Rooz said, it can be done, but you will not like the results, and you may end up damaging your equipment if it's not engineered properly.

one last thing... i think i may just stick with the original wires to prevent myself from having to wire everything.. how could i wire an aftermarket head unit to work with the original speakers?

any wire harness for your car would do, they all serve the same purpose, the plug into your car's harness and branch out for an aftermarket CD player

Just color match, don't plug up the orange wire and don't confuse your power antenna with remote wire

One note: if you're hooking up the Clarion to the stock system without bypassing the stock amplifier, you may have to leave the (-) speakers wires disconnected. The amp will make the (-) connection on its own. Running high power speaker leads directly to it will only overload it and will most likely shut it down. Ask me how I know

If you are bypassing the stock amp, the easiest way to do this is to run your own wires. The attached photo should be enough to convince you, ha ha. It's for a 1995, the only schematic I know of that's available on the internet, and I had to adapt it for my '92 using trial and error and a meter. Trust me, you'll be pulling your hair out . . . as you can see from the pic, some of the speakers' (+) and (-) wires come from different harnesses, and I can't even guarantee that your car's wiring will be the same as mine.

Sorry, but couldn't help it... try investing in a manual on your car and get a wiring diagram. It's really difficult to answer your question(s) without knowing the gear, seeing the actual wiring that you're dealing with. It's like "blind diagnosis" - the guys here will do their best to help you but some things need to be seen.
