Here is the newer gear list....

130KP Focal speakers for the front...

Focal speakers for rear as well (Probably the polyglass series)

Reason why I don't know the size is because it will be something custom... probably in the rear deck....

The junk in a trunk will be stealth and custom, I'll keep that on a DL, will be a good surprise for you guys, but it will be 3 of these

Yes, 8"

And all these will be ran on two Audison amps..

Yes, the amps are very ugly, but they are pretty slick (I'll probably paint the blue parts in cosmos black)

Just curious . . it's interesting that he decided to go with 8" subs? Wouldn't 10" have a more desireable resonant frequency for that car?

Humm, 10w7's are very, very loud, lol!

In the caddy we did with 3, when we only had 2 going, the all shop was shaking.....

Plus 8" subs are extremely accurate!

But, we're still just shooting ideas, once I get my car back up, he'll get in there, take measurements and see where we stand, then I'll order my gear

Lol, Now I am leaning to doing a full focal system and slapping a 13" focal sub in the rear..... Decisions, decisions...

Either 3 8W7s

or 1 13" Focal sub (33KX)

Hmm . . I say JL's for the win. Just looked them up and the Fs for the 33KX is unusually high for a 13" at 39Hz. The 8W7's are 32.5Hz, which is amazing for an 8" driver. I'm betting the JL's will go down lower and be more efficient.

Well, had my installer "build the system" on his laptop.

The Focal's 13" will be a lot cleaner and hit lower frequencies, but the 3 8w7's will be louder by 3 dbs....

Now, question is do I want to do an ALL focal or do 3 8W7.... lol

I am gonna call the Focal rep when I get to work tomorrow see what he has to say

OK, here goes the final lowdown and the speakers

Front:
Focal 6.5" 2-way Seperate K2p Speakers - 165 K2P
In factory kick panel with some custom work

Rear:
Focal 4" 2-way Seperate Slim Profile KP Speakers - 100 KP
In factory rear speaker location, again with some custom work

Trunk:
Focal 13" Dual Voice Coil KX Subwoofer - 33 KX
Lol, this one will be fun, in place spare tire (MAYBE vented )

My goal is to try to keep everything very clean, so tha's why all the installs will make it seem like everything belongs where it's al

AMPS:

To be annoucned soon, it will be the new LRX 1400 and the LRX 4300's I say new because Audison is coming with a replacement for those two amps, that's probably what I'd get

All my connections will be JL wires

ALARM:
Going all Viper on this one

Window controls, Remote start, Glass sensor, 2way alarm

WIll do, am ordering all the alarm gear straight from DEI on Tuesday, the rest I'll order within two weeks (when my car is back up) because my installer needs to take one last look at my car just to be safe
