2 channel amp? But you have 4 speakers (the tweeters being part of the 1st pair). What's your plan?

Yep, the amp will try to provide equal power to all four. It's an unorthodox setup, but a valid one nonetheless. It'll put the soundstage further back instead of in front of you, kind of a throwback to the 60's & 70's when no one cared about that stuff . . . more power anywhere was good back then

The only drawback is that each pair is not individually adjustable. It's likely that one or the other pair of speakers will be overdriven, and you'll have to adjust the amp's output to the limits of the less capable pair.

Ideally, a 4 channel amp with trim pots (adjustable outputs) for each channel pair. You may need bass blockers for the Infinity's up front since 5-1/4" woofers by sheer physics cannot handle low end bass. To avoid having to do that, you might consider an amp with built in crossovers, so you can limit how much bass goes into them. Something like Numark318i's amp in this thread. You're both about to run similar setups, so you might wanna read that anyway

He he, I think he left you hanging coz he doesn't want you to get the same amp as him

The 300/4 is perfect for your situation though. Good call, Rooz.

I'd hold on to it if I were you, besides it's hardly worth anything anyway. That way you can reinstall it if you ever sell the car.
